Maz Saleem

As part of the Wisbech Interfaith Forum's 2018 AGM, Maz Saleem was due to talk about the aftermath of her father’s murder in a racist attack in Birmingham in 2013, and how this has spurred her into working for peace and reconciliation.

Unfortunately ill health prevented her speaking at the meeting, and so the committee organised further discussion of the Wisbech '2020 Vision' plans instead.

Maz's visit would have been the latest in a series of speakers and events which the Forum have staged over the past few years.

You may recall the visit of Archbishop Rowan Williams and our pilgrimage to Bhaktivedanta Manor near Watford, to mention two.
