Wisbech joined with the Peterborough Lord Mayor’s  appeal for the victims and over £2,000 was raised locally in a matter of weeks.

The Peterborough muslim community showed its appreciation by sending a delegation to one of the local churches and this started off what has become a solid partnership between both communities.
